Admission

Parents / Guardians are asked to fill in the Admission Form with the utmost possible accuracy.
 
A candidate who has attended a recognised School cannot be admitted in this School WITHOUT A TRANSFER CERTIFICATE from the last School attended. Christian pupils must produce a BAPTISM CERTIFICATE. Other pupils are required to produce a Birth Certificate or relevant documents supporting the date and place of birth, Which once entered in the School Admission Register cannot be changed.
 
Pupils will be tested for the Class immediately below that to which they seek admission.
 
Before withdrawal of a pupil from the school, one month's Calendar notice must be given, or a month's fees paid in lieu thereof.
 
No School Leaving Certificate will be issued until all dues to the School have been paid in full and then only on receipt of a written application from the Parents / Guardian.
 
No Boarder child is permitted to be withdrawn from the Boarding in the middle of the Academic Session. ANY PUPIL FAILING TWO YEARS IN SUCCESSION IN THE SAME CLASS, OR FAILING TWICE IN THREE CONSECUTIVE YEARS IS CONSIDERED AS WITHDRAWN FROM THE SCHOOL.
 

Note

School fees are payable in advance and must be paid by the:
  • 10th of every current month if paid by cast/cheque.
  • Re-admission is not granted.    
  • Fees once paid are not refundable.
  • A Fine of Rs. 100/- per month will be imposed for Late Fine & in case of dishonoured cheque a fine of Rs. 500/- and Bank Charges will be imposed.
  • All fees are payable for 12 months.    
  • All fees are payable at INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK: Pratt Memorial School Branch, Kolkata, during banking hours
  • The fee book must be duly filled and presented at the time of payment, If the fee book is lost a New Fee book will be issued on charge of Rs. 25/-.
  • One month's notice dated the 1st of the month must be served in the case of all withdrawals from School.
 
IMPORTANT – The name of the pupil whose fees remain unpaid for two consecutive months will be removed from the School Register without any notice and the pupil concerned will not be allowed to sit in the class. Re-admission not guaranteed.
